Co-operative Bank Scoops Two Prestigious Euromoney Awards
The Co-operative Bank of Kenya has been named Kenya’s Best Retail Bank and Kenya’s Best Digital Bank at the prestigious Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026, reinforcing its position as one of the country’s leading financial institutions. The awards were presented during a ceremony held at The Peninsula Hotel in London on 16 July 2026.
The annual Euromoney Awards are among the banking industry’s most respected global recognitions, celebrating institutions that demonstrate excellence in innovation, customer service, digital transformation, and financial performance.

According to Euromoney, Co-operative Bank earned the Best Digital Bank title due to its continued investment in secure and user-friendly digital banking services. Today, more than 90% of customer transactions are conducted through digital and alternative banking channels, reflecting the rapid adoption of technology by the bank’s over 9.8 million account holders.
