Corrections Policy

Corrections Policy

At TechDrivers, we are committed to publishing accurate, fair and trustworthy technology and digital media coverage. Despite our editorial review and fact-checking processes, errors can occasionally occur.

When an error is identified, we are committed to correcting it promptly and transparently.

This Corrections Policy explains how TechDrivers identifies, reviews and corrects errors in published content.

Our Commitment

Accuracy is a core value at TechDrivers.

We take responsibility for correcting factual errors and aim to ensure that our readers have access to reliable and up-to-date information.

How We Handle Corrections

When a potential error is brought to our attention, our editorial team will:

  • Review the reported issue.
  • Verify the relevant information using reliable sources.
  • Correct the article if a factual error is confirmed.
  • Correct inaccurate names, dates, figures, quotations, specifications or other factual information where necessary.
  • Add a correction note or editor’s note when a significant correction materially affects the meaning or accuracy of an article.

Corrections are made based on the available evidence and our editorial judgment.

Types of Corrections

Minor Corrections

Minor issues such as spelling mistakes, grammar errors, punctuation, formatting or typographical errors may be corrected without a formal correction notice when they do not materially affect the meaning of the content.

Major Corrections

When a factual error materially affects the accuracy or understanding of an article, we will:

  • Correct the information as soon as reasonably possible.
  • Clearly acknowledge the correction where appropriate.
  • Add a correction or editor’s note when the change is significant.

Article Updates

Technology and news stories can change as new information becomes available.

When verified new information changes or expands an existing story, we may update the article to reflect the latest developments.

An update is different from a correction: an update adds or changes information because circumstances have developed, while a correction fixes information that was previously inaccurate.

Significant updates may be identified within the article where appropriate.

Retractions

In rare circumstances, an article may contain serious inaccuracies, ethical concerns or other issues that cannot reasonably be resolved through correction.

In such cases, TechDrivers may retract or remove the article.

Where appropriate, a notice explaining the reason for the retraction may remain on the relevant page to maintain transparency.

Reader Correction Requests

We encourage readers, businesses and organisations to notify us when they believe our published content contains an error.

When reporting a potential error, please provide:

  • The article title
  • The article URL
  • A description of the suspected error
  • The correct information, if known
  • Supporting evidence or links to reliable sources

Our editorial team will review credible correction requests and make changes when appropriate.

Submitting a correction request does not guarantee that an article will be changed. All correction decisions are subject to editorial review and verification.

Editorial Independence

Correction decisions are made independently by the TechDrivers editorial team.

Advertisers, sponsors, business partners or other external organisations do not determine whether or how an editorial correction is made.

Contact Us

To report an error or request a correction, please contact:

TechDrivers Editorial Team

Email: driverstech2@gmail.com

Please use “Correction Request” as the subject line where possible.

We aim to review correction requests as promptly as reasonably possible.

Continuous Improvement

We regularly review our editorial processes to improve the accuracy, quality and reliability of our content.

Reader feedback and credible correction requests help us identify areas where our editorial processes can be improved.
